Hi! Your friendly personal trainer and self proclaimed "gym rat" here dropping some gym etiquette on you.

It is NOT acceptable to hog multiple gym machines or areas of the gym with your personal belongings on them to "stake claim" of these areas or items while you do your "circuit" workout.

Do not put a water bottle on one machine, your phone on another, your bag on another, your coat on another and also speed walk two laps of the track in between sets and expect everyone else to steer clear of all of the machines you have staked claim to, especially if it's a peak gym use time.

That is truly just poor etiquette, and if you get angry at someone trying to work in on one of the machines you staked claim to, that shows you don't really understand the gym community and vibe.

The ONLY time this is ever acceptable to use this many machines at once, is if you are literally the ONLY person using that area, but as soon as another person comes in, you should know you no longer have free reign to control all the machines.
