I want to celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers who play such an important role in their child’s communication journey.

From practicing speech sounds at home, reading favorite books over and over, modeling new words, attending therapy sessions, and cheering on every small success—you are your child’s first and most important teacher.

Your patience, encouragement, and unconditional love help your child find their voice and build confidence every day.

In speech therapy, progress happens not only in the therapy room, but also in the everyday moments you create.

Thank you for your dedication, advocacy, and love. Your support makes all the difference.

Happy St Patrick’s Day from Lingo! Try this activity for your speech sound tasks this week. ☘️ ☘️ 1. “Lucky Sound Hunt”

Hide green or gold items around the house.

How to use it:
• Each time your child finds one, they practice a target sound (ex: /s/, /r/, /sh/)
• Example: “sssssnake,” “rainbow,” “shoe”

Tip for parents:
Keep it playful—5–10 good productions is better than 20 rushed ones.
