Let me tell you something that I have noticed about myself lately. I do EVERYTHING like it’s an emergency! Like it has to be done SO fast! 🏃🏻‍♀️
Everything from washing my hands or throwing a load of clothes in the washer to walking through the grocery store, buckling a kid in the car. Literally everything.
And my nervous system is paying for it.
I get tired, overwhelmed, anxious, and irritated. Anyone else?🙋🏻‍♀️
I have started being very intentional about slowwwwwing downnnn. 🐢
It feels so unnatural. But it’s a rewiring of my brain and body that needs to happen.
It’s one of the very best things about massage - for you AND for me. You are taking the time to take care of your body…and even though it’s 60+ minutes of solid work for me, it is me slowing my body down to listen to your body.🌿💜

🌿I love doing a good relaxation massage!

But that is not all massage therapy is, and that is not all I do!

💪🏼I also love my more specific therapeutic work.

(Side note: I wholeheartedly believe relaxation massage is therapeutic too!💚)

I see a wide range of people, and no two massages are ever the same.

Let’s look at today’s clients, for example:

1️⃣ Work on the back, hips, legs, and feet for tightness and nerve related symptoms.

2️⃣ Her problem areas today were her upper back and shoulders, right heel pain, and right ear fullness.

3️⃣ He actually took his wife’s appointment today because he’s been dealing with some recent acute low back and femoral nerve pain.

4️⃣ A 2 hour relaxation massage.

5️⃣ Thirty minutes of focused work on the back for relaxation as part of his overall goal of lowering blood pressure.

Five clients. Five completely different reasons for being on my table.
That’s one of the things I love most about massage therapy.

Regardless of where you fall in the variety, I bet you probably need a massage. 😉

I have had some life schedule changes lately that have resulted in me just finishing my busiest week yet with massages and I couldn’t be happier!😃
God has really provided for me throughout my whole start up and beyond. And he continues to do so now even when I thought it was about to get uncertain!💜

I cannot believe we are already in August!! A little bit of August business:

🐾Our new puppy helped me pick a winner of my 1 year anniversary drawing for a free massage!
💆🏻‍♀️ August schedule is filling up and my first availability isn’t until the third week of the month!
🌟Beginning in September I will also be open on Tuesdays! Making my hours Mon/Wed 8-4:30, Tues/Fri 8-2:30
