New educational video starring two of our talented docs💙

In this conversation, Dr. Jonathan Black and Dr. John Siemon from The Center for Gynecologic Oncology discuss an important topic many women overlook after menopause.

They break down what postmenopausal bleeding can mean, why it should never be ignored, and when it’s important to be evaluated by a specialist.

Even symptoms that seem minor can sometimes point to something that needs attention, which is why awareness and timely care matter.

If you or someone you know has experienced postmenopausal bleeding, this is a must-watch.

Seeing an abnormal Pap smear result can feel scary, but here’s the truth:

It does NOT mean you have cancer.

In many cases, an abnormal result simply means there are small changes in the cells of your cervix. These changes are often caused by HPV and may resolve on their own without treatment.

What it does mean is that your provider may recommend follow-up testing or closer monitoring to keep you safe and healthy.

This is exactly why routine screenings matter, because they help detect changes early, long before they become something more serious.

If you’ve received an abnormal Pap result or are due for your screening, don’t wait.

Menopause was once something women were expected to “just deal with.” Today, we know better.

With more research and better understanding, women now have real options to manage symptoms and protect their long-term health.

Here’s what to know:

Menopause officially begins after 12 months without a period, most often around age 50–51. But the changes leading up to it can affect far more than your cycle.

Hormonal shifts can impact:
>Vaginal health
>Sexual health
>Urinary health
>Cardiovascular health
>Bone health
>Mental health
>Gastrointestinal health
>Hormone health

And for many women, symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats can be disruptive and long-lasting.

The good news is that menopause care has come a long way. Treatment options may include:
• Hormone therapy tailored to your needs
• Non-hormonal options for hot flashes
• Pelvic floor strengthening
• Lifestyle and nutrition support

No two women experience menopause the same way, which is why personalized care matters.

You don’t have to navigate this stage alone, and you don’t have to settle for feeling “off.”

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, yet it often goes undiagnosed for years.

We’re sharing what every woman should know:

• Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus
• It can cause chronic pelvic pain, especially during your period
• Symptoms can vary widely, from painful periods to digestive issues and infertility
• Pain during in*******se is also a common and often overlooked sign
• Up to 30–50% of women with endometriosis may experience fertility challenges

The most important thing to know: there are treatment options, and you don’t have to live with the pain.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your body and don’t delay care. Early diagnosis can make all the difference.
