We don’t often put too much thought into what we actually expect from ourselves or others. We typically allow this part of our lives to run on autopilot, guiding our us from an unconscious or subconscious state.

These expectations influence our thoughts and behaviors, and we assume others feel the same as we do because “it goes without saying.”

Nothing in your relationships goes without saying. Say it. And say it often.

The conversations we have with others is what develops the intimacy of the relationship, especially when we are able to be vulnerable.

Your Sacred Sunday journaling practice is a vulnerable conversation with yourself. 😘

So I think I accidentally uploaded a picture with Dustin in it, and it skewed my results a little bit. But hey, if we ever change our minds and decide to have kids, at least we know we’ll have a cute daughter?

✨Excerpt from the blog✨

When it comes to setting meaningful boundaries, especially around self care, it’s important to know what your needs are.

❤️I have more creative energy in the mornings, so I make sure that time is open for whatever brain power I need to use.

❤️I am way too tired to workout in the evening so I know I need to get my movement done in the mornings.

❤️I go to sleep early so I don’t make plans during the week.

Those are examples of some of my self care boundaries based on my energy.

👀 What are yours?

I was writing in my journal this morning, doing part 2 of asking myself what the smallest step I can take is, and I realized that it’s to share this experience with you.

Take a few minutes to yourself today, start to envision what you want your life to be. Give yourself permission to dream big, to let go of what’s “realistic” or “plausible”- your journal, your dream space is not the time to mute or limit yourself. (Is there ever really a time to do that?)

Enjoy 😊
