When every second counts, our ER nurses are there—responding quickly, making critical decisions, and providing compassionate, lifesaving care to our patients and their families.

To our amazing ER nursing team, thank you for your courage, dedication, teamwork, and the heart you bring to every shift. We are incredibly proud of you!

What an incredible, record-breaking, SOLD-OUT 17th Annual Mission Pink 5K! Our hearts are full of gratitude for every sponsor, volunteer, runner, walker, and everyone who continues to support this special cause.

Because of you, we can continue providing mammograms at no cost to uninsured women throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

We were proud to have Dr. Arturo Torices and Dr. Alexander Chase Castillo share their expertise with City of Mission employees on breast cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and breast reconstruction options.

Our message is simple: You don’t have to leave the Rio Grande Valley to receive quality, specialized breast care. From prevention and early detection to surgical treatment and reconstruction, our community has access to experienced physicians right here at home.

A heartfelt thank-you to the City of Mission for investing in the health and well-being of its employees through education and awareness. Your commitment to prevention and empowering individuals to take charge of their health truly makes a difference!

💗 2,000 People. One Powerful Mission. 17 Years of Making a Difference.

This past Saturday, we made history! Our 17th Annual Mission Pink 5K was another SOLD-OUT, record-breaking event, bringing together over 1,600 runners and walkers, more than 200 dedicated volunteers, and hundreds of spectators — totaling approximately 2,000 people united for one incredible cause: the fight against breast cancer.

For 17 years, Mission Regional Medical Center has remained committed to providing free, lifesaving mammograms to uninsured women throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Because no woman should have to choose between her financial circumstances and her health.

What makes Mission Pink so special isn’t just the record-breaking numbers. It’s the lives we have the opportunity to touch, the women we can help, and the hope we continue to bring to our community.

We are incredibly grateful to H-E-B, the City of Mission, and Empower Brokerage for their generosity, partnership, and unwavering support. To our volunteers, sponsors, participants, and everyone who came out to cheer us on, THANK YOU for showing what a community can accomplish when we come together for something bigger than ourselves! 💗

Last week, Mission Regional Medical Center proudly celebrated Nutrition Services Week, recognizing our incredible team for the important role they play in caring for our patients!

From nourishing our patients when they’re ill and helping them regain their strength, to keeping our physicians and staff fueled throughout their busy days, our Nutrition Services Team does it all!

We honestly don’t know how you do it! You work hard to make every meal nutritious, comforting, and delicious, all while serving with kindness and care.

A warm meal can make such a difference in someone’s day, especially when they’re not feeling their best. Thank you for being part of our patients’ healing journey and for taking such great care of our entire hospital family.

Behind Every Survivor Is a Story of Strength, Hope, and Courage. 💕

During our 17th Annual Mission Pink 5K, we shared this special video honoring the incredible women who have faced breast cancer with courage and determination. Their stories remind us why we continue this mission year after year.

At Mission Regional Medical Center, we are proud of our exceptional breast care team, from our dedicated breast care surgeons, Dr. Jaime Villarreal, Dr. Arturo Torices, and Dr. Guillermo Marquez, to our amazing operating room staff and everyone who plays a role in caring for our patients.

Early detection is key, and mammograms save lives. But when a diagnosis happens, we want our community to know that you are not alone. We are here for you, every step of the way.

To our survivors, thank you for sharing your stories and inspiring hope in others. You are the reason we continue to fight. 🌸

Due to the overwhelming response and incredible support this year, registration will officially CLOSE this Friday at 6 PM!

There will be NO on-site registration on race day. Only packet pickup will be available. If you haven’t registered, make sure to sign up by Friday at 6 PM so you don’t miss out!

We can’t wait to see everyone this Saturday as we celebrate our survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and continue making a difference, one step at a time.

Wow! 💗 The support for our 17th Annual Mission Pink 5K Run/Walk has been incredible, and we are on track to surpass participation numbers from any year before!

We can’t wait to see everyone this Saturday, October 10, for a beautiful morning filled with community, celebration, remembrance, and hope. Together, we’ll honor our breast cancer survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand alongside everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
