Education strengthens response. Response saves lives.

Mission Regional Medical Center was honored to host a Stroke Awareness & Recognition education session for our Mission Fire Department EMS partners, led by Dr. Tijerina, Mission Regional Medical Center Medical Director.

The session focused on early recognition, rapid intervention, and improving outcomes for stroke patients in our community.

As we celebrate EMS Week, we thank our EMS professionals for their courage, compassion, and commitment. You are often the first critical link in stroke care, and your quick action helps give patients their best chance at recovery.

We are proud to be a Designated Primary Stroke Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services and a Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, and we are grateful for the strong partnership that helps us care for our community.
