Using the immune system to fight cancer!!!! This is incredibly cool 😎 especially for us science nerds 🧪 🧫 🧬 While still early, these trials look incredibly promising.
Short version - a persons tumor is analyzed at the cellular level, and a targeted, personal mRNA vaccine is made for them - which tells the patients own immune system how to find and kill cancer cells in their body!!!! 🤯 🤩

A personalized mRNA cancer vaccine combined with the immunotherapy Keytruda succeeded in a late-stage trial for the deadly skin cancer melanoma, its makers said Wednesday, potentially opening up a new way of treating the disease.

YLE sums up the last few days of news reports surrounding the cyclospora outbreak - it’s been a wild ride…
Bottom line - this outbreak is still very likely linked to Taylor Farms - don’t let them (and their CEOs recent visit to the White House) fool you…. But there is still a lot we don’t know.
I would continue to avoid any bagged lettuce, pre-shredded lettuce and salad kits from Taylor farms.
