Exactly. I often said she was the fairy godmother to all of us from Tennessee, but then quickly came to know her love is beyond borders and now we’ll see how she lives on and inspires beyond this earthly plane. ✨🦋✨

Sitting with your hips at least slightly higher than your knees is one of the simplest ways to elevate your practice.

This isn’t about “good posture.”
It’s about working with your body instead of against it.

When your hips are elevated:
• Your pelvis can be closer to neutral supporting your spine’s natural curves
• Your spine rises more naturally
• Your breath moves more freely
• Your nervous system settles with less effort

When your hips are too low:
• The lower back rounds
• The chest collapses
• The breath becomes restricted
• Sitting feels like a chore

A chair, folded blanket, cushion, or block can make the difference between struggle and ease.

Join us for our next series of Yoga Essential classes running May 4 - August 13.
