Did you know breastfeeding can help lower your risk of breast cancer? 🍼 Research shows that women who breastfeed for a total of 12 months (across all children) have a reduced risk of developing breast cancer. This happens because breastfeeding decreases the number of menstrual cycles, reducing exposure to estrogen—a hormone linked to some types of breast cancer.

In fact, the American Institute for Cancer Research found that every 5 months of breastfeeding lowers the risk by about 2%! Breastfeeding not only nurtures your baby, but it also protects your health. 💕
