Today on National Funeral Director & Mortician Day, I want to honor my wonderful husband, Mr. Raymond Harold Hicks.

In 1979, Raymond established his work as a funeral director and embalmer with a deep commitment to serving families with dignity, compassion, and respect during their most difficult moments. Being a mortician is not just a profession for him, it is a calling. He believes every life deserves to be honored and every family deserves care, patience, and understanding.

His dedication has touched countless lives in our community, and his life's work of service continues to inspire. Honey... we salute you.
