This theme serves to highlight the profound impact and genuine compassion CNAs bring to patient care, inspiring healthcare organizations and communities to formally acknowledge and commend these frontline professionals. By honoring CNAs under this theme, the observance endeavors to express gratitude for their diligent efforts, unwavering dedication, and the significant positive influence they exert on the well-being of patients and residents on a daily basis.

In observance of National Gardening Week, we are pleased to provide an update on our garden's progress. Angela reports that our pumpkin plants are emerging and developing well. The zucchini plant is currently sprouting. We also have two cucumber plants establishing growth. Onion plants have not yet appeared. Furthermore, one row of seeds in our flowerpots is showing germination.

Gardening season has arrived at Firesteel! We extend our gratitude to Angela Kulm, one of our dedicated MDS Coordinators, for her generous donation of raised garden beds and various plants. A huge thank you also goes out to all our wonderful helpers who contributed their time and effort to assist in planting the vibrant and flourishing veggie garden.
