People-pleasing can begin as a way to stay safe—especially when love, acceptance, or connection once felt uncertain. But you deserve relationships where you do not have to abandon your needs, voice, or boundaries to be valued.

Healing can look like pausing before you say yes, honoring what you need, and learning that peace does not have to come at the expense of yourself.

If you’re ready to explore these patterns in a compassionate, faith-informed counseling space, Morning Glory Christian Counseling is here to help. Reach out today to get started with counseling. 💜

Therapy and friendship can both be deeply supportive—but they serve different roles. 🤍

A therapist offers a confidential, professional space centered on your healing, growth, and well-being. Friends bring mutual connection, shared life, and care from their own unique perspective.

You deserve both: supportive relationships and a space that is entirely yours.

Therapy isn’t about asking, “What’s wrong with you?”
It’s about making space for your story and asking, “What happened to you?” 🤍

When we begin to understand the experiences, relationships, losses, and moments that have shaped us, we can meet ourselves with more compassion and begin moving toward healing.

In this clip, Hayley shares how therapy can help you make sense of your story without shame, labels, or judgment.

Looking for thoughtful, faith-informed podcasts to support your growth, relationships, and emotional well-being? 🎧 Here are five recommendations from Morning Glory Christian Counseling:

✨ The Place We Find Ourselves with Adam Young explores how our stories—especially experiences of trauma, attachment, and harm—shape us. It offers compassionate insight for engaging the past as part of a journey toward healing and restoration.

✨ The Boundaries.me Podcast with Dr. Henry Cloud shares practical conversations and real-life stories about setting healthy boundaries that support relationships, mental health, productivity, and well-being.

✨ Kingdom Sexuality is a Christian podcast for married couples seeking a more connected, fulfilling, and God-honoring sexual relationship. It creates space for honest conversations about intimacy, sexual freedom, and marriage.

✨ Beyond Your Number is a conversational Enneagram podcast with Damon and Kelly that explores personality, relationships, team dynamics, and real-life growth—inviting listeners to look beyond a label and engage their whole story.

✨ Being Known with psychiatrist Dr. Curt Thompson and Pepper Sweeney explores the intersection of interpersonal neurobiology and Christian spiritual formation, with an emphasis on deep relationships, repair, joy, and the experience of being truly known.

Podcasts can be meaningful companions in your growth journey, though they are not a replacement for individualized counseling or clinical care. Which one are you adding to your listening list?
