Counselor Spotlight- Madison Ford, ALC
Madison is dedicated to helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Huntingdon College, she went on to complete her Master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama—training that laid the foundation for her work in both behavioral and clinical settings.
Her experience as a Registered Behavior Technician allowed her to work hands‑on with children on the autism spectrum, building meaningful connections and supporting developmental growth. She later expanded her clinical skills during her internship at a mental health facility, where she provided individual and group counseling for clients working through substance use disorders.
Now practicing as an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) under the supervision of Lacey Moore, LPC‑S, with Bay Area Professional Counseling, she offers compassionate care to clients of all ages. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, and everyday life challenges, as well as continuing her work with autistic children and adults.
She welcomes clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield, All Kids and Self‑Pay options.
