🎶✨ I’m excited to share that I’ll be presenting at the 10th Annual Black Mental Health Symposium alongside my colleague, Dr. Vincent Sears, Ph.D., MHC-LP!
Our interactive workshop, “Melody as a Map: Using Music to Foster Cultural Humility and Relational Attunement in Clinical Supervision,” explores how music can offer clinical supervisors and counselors-in-training another pathway into reflection, dialogue, meaning-making, and relational connection.
🎶 How might music help us notice identity, culture, power, emotion, and relationship within supervision? And what becomes possible when a song is treated not as the answer, but as an invitation to explore?
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this work with Dr. Sears and to learn alongside the clinicians, counselor educators, supervisors, researchers, advocates, and community members gathering for the symposium’s 10th anniversary.
