SAMPA surgeons have a long history of working on the cutting edge of surgery. We were the first to perform a laparoscopic adrenalectomy anywhere in the world! SAMPA completed the first laparoscopic colectomy in 1991, the first laparoscopic gastric bypass in the region in 2001, the first robotic surgery in the region in 2013, among many other firsts. Our specialized services include a full range of

weight loss procedures, breast surgery, acid reflux surgery, and colorectal surgery along with other general surgery procedures. The SAMPA team offers minimally invasive options and robotically assisted surgery for many of the complex procedures we perform meaning decreased risk, smaller scars, and less pain for the patient.
