Hi California! Big update from CalPride. Our centers in Sonora, Modesto, and Merced are temporarily reducing operating hours to sustain our services. Keep swiping to learn why. See page 2 for our new hours for now 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ Have questions? Ask them below- we'll answer 'em!

CalPride Sierras CalPride Sierras will now be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10AM-3PM. All groups, activities, and events are suspended EXCEPT for Sonora CommuniTEA.

CalPride Stanislaus CalPride Stanislaus will be open for the rest of the week from 9AM-2PM. Starting Monday, October 26th, CalPride Stanislaus will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9AM-2PM.

CalPride Valle Central CalPride Valle Central will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10AM-4PM. The food pantry will still be open, starting at 2PM.

CalPride Health Q***r Points Stanislaus will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1PM-4:30PM. Laundry services will be available on Wednesdays, showers will be available on Thursdays, and our SSP will be open on Fridays.

CalPride's Youth Drop-in Center CalPride Education 🍎 will be open on Wednesdays from 12PM-6PM.

This wasn't an easy decision to make. But as federal policies change and funding priorities shift, we have to adapt, too. Bear with us, California- we'll get through this ❤️🧡💛💚💙🩷💜🤎🖤

October is LGBTQ+ History Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ In 19 days, California will be voting for some of the most important candidates and propositions in our state. Let this be a reminder:

Know our histories. Vote for our futures. We all deserve to live in a world where we are safe in our authenticity.

It's not too late to register to vote! The deadline to register to vote is October 19. However, if you miss the deadline, you can STILL register up until Election Day, November 3.

If you need to register or re-register to vote after October 19, you will need to register in person at your county elections office, polling place, or vote center. Your ballot will be processed and counted once the county elections office has completed the voter registration verification process!

Know our histories, vote for our futures. And when the elections pass, invest in your communities! Voting is just one part of change. Change happens in our neighborhoods and our communities 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Heads up, friends! Our centers in Sonora, Modesto, and Merced on Monday, October 12th in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day. We will be back on Tuesday, October 13th! 🧡

Every second Monday in October, we observe the rich histories, cultures, communities, and achievements of indigenous people in the United States.

CalPride's centers, and the counties we serve, are located on the unceded land of the Yokuts, Miwok, and Chukchansi peoples. To find out whose land you're on, visit whose.land online.

Monday is one day of many where we honor our ancestors and our elders, so that we can build a world where the new generations are safer in their authenticity. We celebrate our Indigenous employees, volunteers, and community members. Your fight is our fight. There is always a future for us.

THE MOTHER OF PRIDE 💙💜🩷 Celebrating Bisexual Visibility Day by celebrating Brenda Howard, an activist who helped coordinate the Christopher Street Liberation Day March in 1970, just one year after the Stonewall Uprising. She was an LGBT rights activist, a sex-positive feminist, and proud bisexual.

So, in her words: The next time someone asks why LGBT marches exist or why Gay Pride Month is in June, tell them: "A bisexual woman named Brenda Howard thought it should be."

Bisexual people are integral to our history. We are activists and advocates, friends and family, and community members. Happy Bisexual Visibility Day, California!! We love you 💙💜🩷

Hi, friends! Heads up- CalPride's centers in Sonora, Modesto, and Merced are closed or have limited hours tomorrow, September 23rd for staff training.

CalPride Sierras in Sonora and CalPride Valle Central in Merced will be closed for the day. CalPride Stanislaus, located at 111 Modesto Avenue in Modesto, will be open from 9AM-11:30AM for any services you might need 🖤🤎
