I will die on the hill that any and all massage therapy is therapeutic in one way or another.

It doesnt matter if you are doing flowing swediah techniques to relax your overstressed client out of their sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight/freeze), OR doing deeper therapeutic work to help a clients aches and pains, OR even sports related sessions to help increase the range and flexibility of tight, wound up muscles.

Every massage session can and should be personally tailored for what the clients has going on and what their goals are for the end of the session.

This is such a great visual about posture. It doesn't matter if you're stuck at a desk, driving, playing on your phone, OR video games.

First, not only does your spine round, your core muscles become weak and UNDER activated. This can lead to a plethora of other problems, including back pain, herniated disc's, and more.

Forward head carriage leads to headaches, nerve issues, and spinal problems

Hunched shoulder cause internal rotation in the front, so think super tight pecs, ant. deltoid, and biceps

Not sitting properly on your d**a can shift the entire angle of your hips, creating a hyperlordosis, or anterior pelvic tilt.

So fix your posture, you busted croissant!

If you look at the top picture and think " thats where my headaches are!" Then you probably have a trigger point in your upper trap!
Some headaches are caused by referral pain from trigger points in certain muscles and refer or send that pain all over the body on certain paths.
Its like your body is literally telling you where it hurts! 🤯
