⭐ Thursday – Superhero Day

Come dressed as your favorite superhero or wear your favorite superhero shirt, cape, or accessories as we recognize the incredible heroes who care for our residents each day.

🥤 Root Beer Floats will be provided by Transitions Hospice as a special treat for our amazing staff!

🦋 Butterfly Release Day! 🦋

Today, our residents had the wonderful opportunity to release our butterflies after watching their incredible journey from caterpillar to chrysalis and finally to butterfly. It has been a special experience for everyone to witness the miracle of metamorphosis up close.

With smiles on their faces and butterflies taking flight, residents enjoyed celebrating the culmination of weeks of observation, patience, and care. Watching these beautiful creatures spread their wings and soar away was a meaningful reminder of growth, transformation, and the beauty of nature.

🦋 A Beautiful Transformation

Today, one of our precious chrysalises completed its incredible journey and emerged as a beautiful monarch butterfly! Our residents have thoroughly enjoyed watching each stage of the metamorphosis process, from tiny caterpillar to chrysalis and finally to butterfly.

This experience has provided wonderful opportunities for learning, reminiscing, and appreciating the beauty of nature's transformations. Seeing the butterfly spread its wings for the very first time was a special moment for everyone.

Tomorrow is release day, and we look forward to sending this magnificent butterfly off on its next adventure. Stay tuned for photos of this exciting milestone!

What a wonderful day on the water! 🚢☀️

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed today's Celebration Belle riverboat ride. The beautiful scenery, relaxing atmosphere, and refreshing breeze along the Mississippi River made for a memorable outing. There were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and opportunities to take in the stunning views.

🦋 Monarch Butterfly Update 🦋

It's been a week since our tiny monarch caterpillars completed their final molt and transformed into beautiful chrysalises. What an amazing journey it has been to witness their metamorphosis!

Now, we eagerly await the next exciting stage—when they emerge as butterflies and spread their wings for the very first time. Our residents have enjoyed watching and learning about this incredible process, and we can't wait to share the moment when these monarchs take flight.
