One of the most rewarding parts of being a massage therapist isn’t the massage itself. It’s seeing how someone feels afterward.

This week, one client stood up, smiled, and said, “I feel like a new woman.”

Another had me laughing when I told her our session was over. She looked at me and shouted, “No it’s not!” 😂

Then there are the quiet moments when my clients falls asleep. If you’ve ever apologized for that, please don’t. To a massage therapist, it’s one of the greatest compliments you can give. It tells me you felt safe enough to relax, let go of the stress you’ve been carrying, and simply rest.

Moments like these are exactly why I chose this profession. Every day, I have the privilege of helping people feel better than they did when they walked through my door, and there truly isn’t a better feeling.
