October is Sensory Awareness Month! 💛

The world can feel a little different for every child. Sounds, textures, movement, lights, clothing, food, and even everyday routines can sometimes feel like a lot.

That’s where occupational therapy can help! Through play, movement, and individualized activities, we help kids better understand and respond to the sensory input around them so they can feel more confident and comfortable in their everyday lives.

Every child experiences the world in their own way, and we’re here to meet them right where they are. 🤍

A new season is here, and we’re so excited for all the growth that comes with it! 🍁💛

We’re almost two months into the school year, routines are starting to feel a little more normal, and everyone is getting the hang of things. We’re loving this season of growth for our patients and getting to watch them learn new skills, gain confidence, and reach new milestones along the way!

Happy first day of fall! 🫶

WE’RE HIRING | COTA NEEDED ASAP! 📣

Our Do Well Therapy family is growing, and we have an immediate opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)!

One of our sweet COTAs is about to welcome a new baby and will be taking maternity leave, so we’re looking for someone who can step in and help care for her kiddos while she’s away. 🤍

This position is initially for maternity coverage, BUT there is a great opportunity for the position to grow into a permanent full-time role as our caseload continues to grow!

If you’re a COTA who:
✨ Loves working with kids
✨ Wants a supportive, close-knit team
✨ Enjoys making therapy fun and meaningful
✨ Dependable, compassionate, and ready to jump in
✨ Wants the opportunity to grow with a pediatric therapy clinic

…we’d LOVE to hear from you! 💕

You’ll be stepping into an established pediatric caseload with a team of OTs, SLPs, and PTs who genuinely care about the kids we serve, and each other!

📍 Do Well Therapy | Monette, AR
📩 Send your resume to [email protected] or message us directly!

Know a COTA who would be perfect for our team? Tag them or share this post! 💛

A little focus on speech therapy today 🤍

Some of the simplest ways to encourage communication with your little ones happen through play! Everyday playtime creates so many natural opportunities to build language, encourage responses, and help them feel confident communicating!

Below are a few simple ways you can promote communication and response while playing together.

These tips are great to practice at home, but we’re always here to help. Give Do Well Therapy a call today to learn more or get started!

The powers of OT 👏🌈✨

Occupational therapy truly does have SO many benefits. From building fine motor skills and improving coordination to supporting sensory regulation, independence, confidence, and everyday routines, OT helps kiddos develop the skills they need to thrive.

Every little win adds up to BIG progress, and we’re so grateful to get to celebrate each one along the way! 💛
