Yes, rest matters.
Fueling your body matters.
Good therapy matters.
But your brain doesn’t change just because you show up and hope it will.
Clients often say:
“But I go to therapy all the time.”
And that IS important, but most brain change actually happens outside the clinic, in real life.
Your brain changes when it’s challenged.
…When you try, struggle a little, problem-solve, and try again.
If we avoid the hard things completely, the brain has no reason to adapt.
Change doesn’t happen in comfort.
It happens when we create safe, meaningful opportunities to practice on purpose.
