If your child is working twice as hard as everyone else to keep up… that matters.
A lot of kids who struggle with reading, speech, language, or attention are incredibly good at compensating.
They memorize.
They guess.
They avoid.
They watch everyone else first.
They work SO much harder behind the scenes than most adults realize.
Sometimes parents are told:
“They’re fine.”
“They’ll catch up.”
“They’re just immature.”
And sometimes that’s true. But sometimes kids need explicit support and strategies to make things feel easier, more automatic, and less frustrating.
If school, homework, reading, communication, or daily routines consistently feel harder than they should for your child, trust your gut.
I provide individualized speech, language, literacy, dyslexia, executive functioning, and late talker support for children throughout Monmouth & Ocean County, NJ. Summer is often a great low-pressure time to build skills and confidence.
