🎉 Thank You for Making Our 4th Annual Community Mobility & Wellness Screen a Success! 🎉
Our ULM Doctor of Physical Therapy students screened nearly 200 community and campus participants on October 2nd, providing education, mobility assessments, and wellness tips to promote healthier living and to kick off National Physical Therapy Month. 💪 We also partnered with Louisiana Emergency Response Network to provide participants with their Zibrio Stability Scale Score.

Join us for the Fourth Annual Community Mobility & Wellness Screening presented by the ULM Doctor of Physical Therapy Program! Help us celebrate National Physical Therapy Month and give back to the community on Physical Therapy Day of Service.

📍 ULM Activity Center
Student Physical Therapists will guide you through quick screenings that measure strength, balance, and walking speed. We will also have a NASA martian boot-inspired stability scale, called the Zibrio, to give you your Zibrio stability scale score!

We are still smiling thinking about all the fun, laughter, color, and movement we shared at this year’s Miles for Motion 5K Color Run! From the runners and walkers to our volunteers, sponsors, faculty, students, and everyone who came out to support us: THANK YOU for making this event so special!

Miles for Motion is more than just a 5K. It’s about bringing our community together to celebrate movement, health, wellness, and the joy that comes from being active. Whether you walked, ran, danced, cheered from the sidelines, or got covered head-to-toe in color, you were a part of something that reminds us all that movement matters! 🌈
