🌿💚 Happy Mental Health Awareness Month! 💚🌿

It’s the first day of a month dedicated to checking in, speaking up, and showing up — for ourselves and each other. Mental health matters every day, but May is a special time to celebrate progress, share resources, break stigmas, and remind each other: you are not alone.

Let’s make space this month for open conversations, small joys, deep breaths, and real connection. Whether it’s a walk outside, a chat with a friend, or simply pausing to breathe — every little act of care counts.

We will be trying to accumulate as many volunteers as possible over the next few weeks (through December 1st), so we know how many recipient families we can serve this year, and then begin matching each volunteer to a recipient family.

Wondering what to expect as a volunteer?

🎄First you will need to fill out the form to register as a volunteer, which can be found here: https://forms.gle/nXmHCjW6jcf6YoAaA
🎄 Volunteer registration will close by December 1st
🎄Once registration is closed, and we know how many volunteers we have this year, recipient families will be chosen and notified.
🎄Recipient families will then create an Amazon Wishlist and share it with the Giving in Green County program organizer by December 1st, who will then disburse the list to the volunteers who are matched with the family.
🎄Volunteers will then need to buy items off of the family’s Amazon Wishlist. Volunteers are NOT responsible for buying all of the family's items on the wishlist, we will be matching 2-3 volunteers to help each selected family! Volunteers can choose to have items delivered to their address (which will then need to be dropped off to Mainstreet Counseling, LLC) or may choose to ship the items directly to Mainstreet at 1717 11th Street, Monroe, WI 53566.

There is no donation amount too small to help a family in need this holiday season! We will also be posting more about other ways to help soon!
