As a practicing clinician and the CEO of CONQUER, it hurts my heart when negative posts are made about the company. Not because of reputation or money but because that one comment could deter someone from the getting literal life saving care that this company provides and even if its just one is too many.
I founded CONQUER to create sustainable care that truly changes lives. Most of the revenue we bring in goes right back into creating and growing innovative programs that serve our community. Every choice we make is made to ensure sustainable processes that protect the future of our patients, our staff, and the communities we serve.
Part of that responsibility is ensuring financial sustainability. If a role or practice costs more than it contributes, then resources are being pulled away from the very community we are here to serve. In that situation, the paycheck benefits the role itself while the community loses out — and that’s not something we can allow. That’s why we sometimes have to make difficult decisions: to keep resources focused on patient care and programs that truly change lives.
Our staff have helped change the lives of literally thousands of people — most of them among the most underprivileged in Washington. A negative post could prevent even one person from seeking the life-changing, or even life-saving, care they need, and that’s why we stand firmly behind our mission and the work of our 45 dedicated employees.
