Recognizing that denial can be part of the human condition we work to help addicts and family members identify the impact of addiction in their lives. At Twin Lakes Recovery Center you will receive the tools necessary to begin the process of long term recovery. We regard addiction as a disease and use a multi-disciplinary model to address problems affecting the body, mind and spirit. We empower clients through therapies which encourage individual responsibility through social recovery, acknowledging that addiction is a disease of isolation best overcome through a life lived and shared in community. Working with patients, families, addiction counselors, licensed therapists, nurses and physicians, we develop an individual treatment plan which guides each individual through a thorough and comprehensive evaluation, required treatment, and into an aftercare process for lifelong success. We recognize that recovery encompasses improvements in self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, positive family interaction, vocational productivity, the establishment of realistic life goals and the development of a healthy lifestyle and support network.
