Retirement Announcement from Sobaks Home Medical, Inc.

Longtime Team Member and Executive Officer Brian Springsdorf will soon retire

Brian Springsdorf, Sobaks Home Medical Executive Officer, is announcing his retirement from the company which will occur Friday, Oct. 30. Springsdorf has been with Sobaks since 1997. His professional involvement with the home medical business has consistently been impeccable and many have come to appreciate the standards of respect and care that Brian offers staff, patients and the community. Brian will be missed, but the Sobaks Team hopes everyone will congratulate him on his retirement.

When asked about his retirement, Brian shared, "Retirement will allow more time with my wife, Tam and our kids and grandkiddos. I will also have more time at our piece of heaven, our cabin, up north. And of course, as the Owosso Charter Township Fire Dept. Assistant Chief, there is plenty to do with three stations covering 146 square miles and meetings." Brian added that he will "continue with my purpose with the Memorial Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors."

Brian lives in the Owosso area with his wife, Tam. His family includes his son Brant and daughter-in-law Megan and their two children, Everleigh (7) and Easton (4) of Fort Wayne, IN; his son Taylor who is engaged to Vid and lives in San Francisco, CA; and his daughter Delaney and son-in-law Brandon of the Owosso area.

The Sobaks Home Medical Team, including team members from all three locations in Owosso, Tawas and Monroe, genuinely wish Brian Springsdorf the very best going forward. Sobaks has been blessed as a business to have his calm guidance, but it is his daily presence. friendship and compassion that will be most missed.

One in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Approximately 382,600 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed this year and over 2,600 of them will be men. Our Sobaks team honors breast cancer awareness every October. On Fridays, we wear pink. Please talk to your healthcare provider and schedule routine exams. We care about you.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to stand together in support of those in our community whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
We honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand beside those still fighting. We also encourage everyone to take an active role in their health by learning about risk factors and the importance of recommended screenings and early detection.

To our community members, families, friends, and loved ones affected by breast cancer: the Monroe Public Safety Department stands with you.
