Congratulations to Zhuoran Cai, recipient of the Fourth Annual Arlene Walsh Scholarship, presented at the ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital Medical Staff meeting on June 9.

A graduate of Erie Mason High School, Zhuoran will attend the University of Michigan this fall to pursue a degree in Oncology Pathology. She was the unanimous choice among 10 applicants following a blinded review process.

After a challenging history at the Boston Marathon, a local runner and coach was determined to return and experience the race again, this time side by side with her sister, and on her own terms.
