Every innovation begins with a problem that needs to be solved.

I recently sat down with Benn, CEO of ExaVeyra Sciences, to discuss the story behind the development of the CuraCator™ Clinical Method and why I invented CuraCator™.

As a dermatologist performing regenerative and aesthetic procedures, I recognized three recurring challenges with the application of PRP, exosomes, growth factors, and other topical biologics:

🔴Safety – reducing risks of splatter, needle stick and contamination through a sterile, single-use delivery system.
✅Waste Reduction – minimizing product loss and ensuring more of the treatment reaches the intended treatment area rather than gloves, gauze, or surrounding surfaces.
💎Precision & Control – creating a method that allows providers to distribute products more evenly and consistently exactly where they are needed.

Those challenges inspired the development of CuraCator™—a simple but meaningful innovation designed to improve the delivery of valuable biologics and topical therapies following microneedling, laser treatments, hair restoration procedures, wound care, and regenerative medicine treatments.

What started as a solution for my own patients has grown into the CuraCator™ Clinical Method, helping providers enhance treatment consistency, efficiency, and patient experience.

I had the privilege of celebrating 30 years of Hopkins Dermatology in Monroe, Louisiana surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, team and patients who have been part of this journey since the very beginning.

What started as a dream to build a practice centered on excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined, including my second location in Southlake, Texas.
