Geaux Far Louisiana Week is BACK! 💚

From North Louisiana to the bayou and everywhere in between, we’re bringing Geaux Far Week to communities across the state September 28–October 1!

Geaux Far Week brings families, early childhood providers, advocates, and community partners together to connect, share resources, and make sure the voices of Louisiana families are part of building stronger systems for our children.

This year, we’re stopping in eight communities across Louisiana:

📍 Monroe — September 28 at 10 AM
📍 Shreveport — September 28 at 6 PM
📍 Alexandria — September 29 at 10 AM
📍 Lake Charles — September 29 at 6 PM
📍 Lafayette — September 30 at 10 AM
📍 Baton Rouge — September 30 at 6 PM
📍 Houma — October 1 at 10 AM
📍 New Orleans — October 1 at 6 PM

🎒📚 Back-to-School Season is in Full Swing! ✏️🍎

Families are out in FULL FORCE today, and we’re excited to be right here in the middle of it with Region 8 Community Outreach Team💙

We’re giving away FREE school supplies, connecting with families, and sharing information about education supports and resources for families of children with disabilities.

We’re also spreading the word about our upcoming trainings and events — including our Touch-A-Truck Trick or Treat this fall! 🚒🚜🚓🎃

We love opportunities like this to meet families where they are, answer questions, share resources, and make sure families know they have support throughout the school year.
