I’ve taught preschool and team gymnastics for over 15 years? And funny how teaching something can teach you so much more about the sport you grew doing.
Teaching, let alone teaching little ones who are learning to speak, helped me learn a template of communicating what it is my body feels and how to best communicate it to others who have possibly never felt it in theirs!
It’s how I was able to start teaching yoga and aerial yoga so quickly and have fun doing it!
As I entered the world of yoga as a student, I learned we are always students in any discipline. “Expert” means an experienced person; one instructed by experience.
No matter how long you’ve done something, never forget your student mindset. 💙 It is the only way we grew before and can continue to grow. 🌱
