Our purpose is helping young men find theirs. THE WAY AHEAD. Our ultimate goal is to transform them into responsible and purpose-driven men.

The Carpenter Shed is a residential program for young men aged 16 to 20 who require guidance, support, and mentorship to find their place in the world. Our program is community-based and highly structured, and we aim to help these young men discover their purpose, meaning, and direction in life.

This Saturday, October 10, is World Mental Health Day.

We spend every day with young men working through anxiety, depression, and trauma, and one thing stays true across all of it: struggling with your mental health isn't weakness. It's something that deserves real support.

When you bring up a curfew, a missed responsibility, or a hard conversation, and your son shuts down or explodes, it's not really about the rule.

🐾 Sometimes the best “Welcome” doesn’t need words. 🐾
Walking through the doors of a new program can come with a lot of fear. A new place. A new care team. A new group of guys. That’s when our Director of Second Chances steps in and works his magic.
Winston is our resident expert at welcoming new clients and families. He’s the first friend, the first hug, and sometimes the first chance to take a breath and let those nerves settle. And when things get hard, he’s always available to sit beside our guys, no questions asked.
Maybe Winston understands second chances better than most. After all, he was given one, too. ❤️

Recovery month isn't only about the young men in our program. It's about the families standing behind them too.

Every week, our families show up. On calls, in sessions, in the hard conversations that come with real change. That's what recovery actually looks like from where we sit: not one person fixing himself alone, but a whole family learning how to move forward together.
