Earlier this month, the AHN Women’s Institute teamed up with Beverly's PGH, Community Forge and other community partners to serve Pittsburgh’s Wilkinsburg neighborhood! Beverly’s PGH brought their Babies in the Burgh mobile unit, which provides infant formula, lactation support, baby items and resources to families at no cost. And with our AHN OB-GYN Mobile Clinic parked a few feet away, we met people where they are to provide comprehensive OB-GYN care for those of all ages. 💚

Glimmer of Hope recently provided an incredibly generous donation to launch their comprehensive "Mind, Body, Care" Breast Cancer Initiative within the AHN Cancer Institute.

This amazing initiative provides expanded behavioral health support to metastatic breast cancer patients across AHN, as well as contrast-enhanced mammography at AHN Allegheny General to provide enhanced imaging and reduced diagnostic delays. The donation also includes the distribution of SuzziPads, which help to reduce side effects like neuropathy caused by chemotherapy, to breast cancer patients at five AHN Cancer Institute locations.
