Dream Big Children's Center Play-based ABA Therapy for kids ages 18 months to 5 years.🩵

Typical ABA centers feel clinical and more like going to the doctor’s office. Here at Dream Big, our centers are warm, welcoming, and created with a child in mind. Our centers feature play kitchens, a sandbox filled with dinosaurs, a room for sensory play, and endless activities for your little one. The Early Intervention program in our centers is for children 6 years of age and younger. This uniq

ue program is based on Applied Behavior Analysis in a natural environment with a focus on play and positive behavior interventions. We take pride in making Dream Big the cleanest, safest environment for your child! We have extensive measures in place in light of COVID-19 and continue to go above and beyond what is recommended. We do all we can to ensure the health and safety of our staff and the children we serve. All of our staff are wearing masks, social distancing, sanitizing, disinfecting and constantly cleaning. We also use block scheduling to limit our occupancy and allow time in the middle of the day to deep clean.

From circle time giggles to outdoor adventures, creative crafts, and teamwork in the play area, our team loves every fun-filled moment of the day!

Dream Big is special because of the amazing people, meaningful 1:1 connections, compassionate care, inclusivity, and the strong bonds we build with our clients every day!
What is the most rewarding part of the job?
The most rewarding part of the job is seeing our clients smile, make progress, get excited to come in, and leave each day happy and proud!
What is the best thing a parent has ever said to your team?
The best part is hearing parents share that our clients use their skills at home, that our work is truly appreciated, and that the kids even miss their BTs over the weekend!

¿Cómo motivar a tu hijo?

A veces los niños necesitan un empujoncito extra… y eso está bien.
Motivar a un niño pequeño no siempre es fácil, especialmente cuando no sabemos exactamente qué es lo que más le llama la atención en ese momento.
Pero hay estrategias sencillas que puedes probar en casa y que hacen una diferencia verdadera:

🌟 Sigue sus intereses. Si le encantan los carritos, úsalos para invitarlo a jugar, contar o compartir.
🌟 Ofrécele opciones pequeñas. "¿El vaso rojo o el azul?" Sentir que él elige lo motiva muchísimo.
🌟 Celebra lo específico. En lugar de solo "¡bien hecho!", prueba "¡guardaste tus bloques tú solito!"
🌟 Usa "primero… después". "Primero guardamos los juguetes, después vamos al parque."
Saber qué viene le da seguridad.

Our favorite part of the day is seeing our kiddos’ progress and being amazed by all the little things they accomplish every day.
What makes Dream Big special?
Dream Big is special to us because having an ABA center in our small town means so much. Seeing our community be part of something so meaningful and great is really special.
What is the most rewarding part of the job?
The most rewarding part of the job is making our clients feel seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
What is the best thing a parent has ever said to your team?
One of the best things a parent shared with our team was tearing up while telling us they finally felt their child was truly understood and supported.

Meet Marielle - the person behind the schedule at our Rancho Mirage center.

As an Operations Coordinator, Marielle makes sure every child gets to where they need to be. For her, it's not just logistics - it's knowing that every appointment she books keeps a little one consistent with their progress.

1. How long you have been at Dream Big?
I have been with Dream Big for 7 happy months.
2. Your "why" for wanting to support the BTs and children in the RM center?
The impact we are making in the lives of the children that we work with is one of the biggest reasons why I come into work every day. Every time I hear about the progress a client is making, I feel a big sense of accomplishment and fulfillment because I know and understand the dedication, patience, and compassion that our BT’s and clinical team put into getting our clients through every milestone. Being part of a team that positively influences the lives of children and their families is incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in contributing to a center that creates such a lasting and meaningful difference.
3. What do you love about your role at Dream Big?
What I love most about my role at Dream Big is knowing that the work I do directly supports our clients in receiving the services they need. As a scheduler, every appointment I coordinate plays an important role in helping clients stay consistent with their care and continue progressing toward their goals and objectives. It is rewarding to know that even behind the scenes, my work contributes to the positive growth and success of the children and families we serve.

Primero que nada: respira. No estás solo/a y hay apoyo disponible.

Cuando un niño pequeño aún no usa palabras, puede ser señal de que necesita un poco de ayuda extra para desarrollar el lenguaje, y cuanto antes empiece esa ayuda, mejor.

En Dream Big trabajamos con niños desde los 18 meses a 5 años con terapia 1:1 que los ayuda a encontrar su voz, a su ritmo.

Y lo mejor: si tienes MediCal, los servicios podrían estar completamente cubiertos.

This June, we're launching the Center Showdown - the first-ever competition between our 11 Southern California centers. And the one who decides the winner? YOU.

Over the next several weeks, each center gets its moment in the spotlight. We'll introduce the teams, share what makes each location special, and at the end of it all, we'll open voting so the community can crown the champion.
