🎾💚 **Our 2nd Annual Pickleball for Parkinson's is THIS SATURDAY!** 💚🎾

Last year, more than **130 people** came together for our very first **Pickleball for Parkinson's**, and we reached maximum capacity! Thanks to your incredible support, we've moved this year's event to **Chamisal Tennis & Fitness Club** in Corral de Tierra to continue growing our Parkinson's community.

🌟 **Kickoff begins at 10:00 a.m.**
🌟 **Theme:** **Neon Bright for a Parkinson's Fight!** 🌈

The photo below captures what this event is all about—a team of Parkinson's warriors, family members, friends, and supporters coming together with hope, determination, and plenty of smiles.

🏓 While registration for our pickleball social is now **FULL**, we'd still love to see you!

Stop by to:

🏓 Try pickleball! Whether you have Parkinson's, limited mobility, or have never picked up a paddle before, we'll have opportunities to give it a try between **10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.**

Most importantly, come meet members of our Parkinson's community, learn more about the disease, and help us raise awareness. Together, we can create understanding, inspire hope, and remind those living with Parkinson's that they are not alone.

💙 POP (Power Over Parkinson's) made history this year! 💙

POP attended its very first World Parkinson Congress (WPC) in Phoenix, held May 24–27, 2026. Nearly 4,000 people from around the world came together with one common goal—to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson's.

Scientists, doctors, researchers, people with Parkinson's, care partners, therapists, and exercise instructors gathered to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build friendships and collaborations that will last a lifetime.

We are especially proud that at least 25 people from Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties were able to attend. For all but three or four of them, it was their very first World Parkinson Congress WPC—and to say it was life-changing would be an understatement.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and the success of our fundraising efforts, many local people living with Parkinson's had the opportunity to experience the education, hope, inspiration, and global connection that the WPC provides.

I've included a short two-minute video that captures some of the highlights and the joy of this unforgettable event. It is a beautiful reminder that when a community comes together, we can create opportunities that truly change lives.

Together, we are building hope, creating connections, and proving that no one has to face Parkinson's alone.

💙

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
