This month we are proud to celebrate five incredible Grays Harbor County Therapeutic Court, Superior Court Division, graduates; one from Mental Health Court on July 16th, and four from Drug Court today, July 24th.
The heart of our program is a simple motto: Show up, be honest, and try. Those three simple, although not always easy, statements capture what Therapeutic Courts are all about. Progress doesn’t require perfection, it requires a willingness to keep showing up, to be truthful with yourself and your team, and to keep trying even when the path is difficult.
A reminder that it reflects months, even years, of treatment engagement, learning accountability, facing significant challenges, embracing change, and demonstrating the resilience needed to build a healthier, more stable future.
While today marks the end of one chapter, it’s not the end of their recovery journey. Graduation is not a finish line, rather a milestone that celebrates the skills, relationships, and a foundation built throughout the program. We hope these graduates carry those strengths with them as they continue moving forward in their recovery and their lives 🎉🎓🙌.
Thank you to our community partners, contracted agencies, county professionals, and citizens of Grays Harbor for your continued support of Therapeutic Courts. Thank you for believing in second chances and the potential of every participant who chooses to show up, be honest, and try. ❤️
