**3 Signs Your Child’s Speech May Not “Just Fix Itself” 👀**
This is one of the most common questions I hear from parents—especially when it comes to speech sounds 💛
While some errors are part of normal development, here are a few signs your child may need extra support:
✨ **1. You understand them… but others don’t**
If you can understand your child but teachers, friends, or family members struggle, this can be a sign of a speech sound delay.
✨ **2. They leave sounds out or change them**
For example:
➡️ “poon” for *spoon*
➡️ “tat” for *cat*
➡️ “wabbit” for *rabbit*
These patterns can stick around longer without support.
✨ **3. Their speech isn’t getting clearer over time**
As children grow, their speech should become easier to understand. If progress feels slow or “stuck,” it’s worth looking into.
💡 **Here’s the bottom line:**
Some children do outgrow mild errors—but others need a little help to get there.
Early support can make a huge difference in clarity, confidence, and success at school.
