During Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to recognize and thank our dedicated Mental Health Officer, Rico Hardnett, for the incredible work he does serving families in our community.
Every day, Rico works with compassion, professionalism, and patience to help families facing some of life’s most difficult moments during mental health crises. As a CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) trainer, he is committed to ensuring that respondents who appear before our court receive the best treatment, care, and resources possible.

Rico consistently goes the extra mile — listening, advocating, educating, and helping connect people with the support they need. His dedication is making a real difference as we continue tackling the mental health crisis affecting families across our communities.

We are grateful for his service, leadership, and heart for helping others. Thank you, Rico, for all you do! 💚

It was a gorgeous night to change the face of mental health.💙
There is something so powerful about a community coming together to support mental health resources for the River Region. It was a night of beautiful music, speeches, and even raffle wins! The entire event carried so much intention and compassion.

Many thanks to all who attended and the event, as well as our supporters and sponsors. Your contributions will help Carastar Health continue vital work in behavioral and mental health in the River Region.
