Rivertown brought the energy for CNA Week!

We had Team Color Day on Tuesday, and each unit showed off their spirit in matching shirts while enjoying pizza, cake, and ice cream together. A fun way to celebrate the teamwork and dedication that make our CNAs so special.

This CNA Week, we celebrate the heart of healthcare at Rivertown Health & Rehab.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

At Rivertown, we are proud to serve and care for many veterans and families who carry forward the legacy of courage, commitment, and sacrifice. Today, we remember, reflect, and express our deepest gratitude.

Steady Progress Toward Independence

Martha Lyon came to Rivertown Health & Rehabilitation Center requiring moderate assistance with lower body dressing, functional transfers, and ambulation. She also needed support to follow spinal precautions safely.

Through consistent therapy and effort over the past month, Martha has made strong progress. She is now completing all ADLs independently and requires only supervision for functional transfers. She is also able to take 3–5 steps with contact guard assistance.

At this point, Martha has met 75% of her therapy goals, and the team continues to work with her toward full independence.

We are proud of the progress she has made so far and look forward to her continued success!

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women who give so much of themselves both at work and at home.

Our nurses and caregivers don’t just care for residents, they shape lives in more ways than one. After long shifts filled with compassion, patience, and dedication, they go home and continue that same love and care with their own families. The impact they make doesn’t end when they clock out.

To the mothers on our team, thank you for the strength you show, the sacrifices you make, and the example you set every single day. You are raising the next generation with the same kindness and heart you bring to our residents.
