There’s nothing quite like learning a recipe from someone who makes it from the heart! ❤️

Our friend of Wesley Gardens, Brenda, recently gave us a delicious lesson in Honduran cooking, demonstrating how she makes traditional Baleadas.

She filled those warm, homemade tortillas with her homemade refried beans and creamy crema—simple ingredients that make for one DELICIOUS bite! 🇭🇳🌮

We loved learning a little about Brenda’s Honduran heritage and, of course, getting to enjoy the tasty results. Around here, we’re always up for good food, good friends, and a little Food for Thought! 💚

We Need a Little Help From Our Friends! 🍦❤️

Our Ice Cream Social is coming up on August 25th at 2:00 PM, and we’re hoping to fill several freezers with some good old-fashioned homemade ice cream. 🍨

We’re looking for a few wonderful volunteers willing to churn up a batch and help make this afternoon extra special for our residents.

Who says you have to outgrow fun? Our residents absolutely love Olly Ball, and this game had everyone laughing!

Be sure to watch all the way to the end… just when you think it’s over, the ball takes one last bounce—right off the head of our favorite Scotsman, Mr. Nangle! 😂

Our First Sergeant Academy 26-F/Liberty Flight from Maxwell AFB joined us for a special evening of Bingo, and what a great time we had!

Four exciting rounds, Walmart gift card prizes of $20, $40, $60, and $75, plenty of laughs, and some truly wonderful folks made for a memorable night. Thank you for spending the evening with our Wesley Gardens family—we hope you’ll come back and see us again! ❤️
