Sometimes the best way to connect is to get down on a child’s level!

Our sweet resident, Ms. Ohnich, didn’t hesitate to get right down on the floor to play and visit with a young friend. Moments like these remind us that kindness, joy, and a playful spirit have no age limit.

The laughter, smiles, and special bond shared between generations are what make Wesley Gardens such a wonderful place to call home. ❤️

🍩✨ National Doughnut Day at Wesley Gardens! ✨🍩

The famous “Hot Now” sign was glowing at Krispy Kreme this morning, so we knew exactly what was needed to make breakfast a little sweeter!

Fresh, warm doughnuts were picked up and shared with our residents and our Associates as a special National Doughnut Day treat. Smiles were plentiful, the coffee was flowing, and the doughnuts disappeared quickly—a sure sign of a successful celebration!

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the day extra special. 🍩❤️

There’s always a little extra excitement when “Cookie” comes to work at The Gift Shoppe! From wagging his tail to greeting residents and visitors, Cookie has a special way of making everyone smile. He never meets a stranger and is always ready to accept a pat on the head and share a little love.

Some days, the best gift in The Gift Shoppe isn’t on the shelf—it has four paws and a wagging tail! ❤️🐶

There must be something in the water at Wesley Gardens… because our residents definitely have a green thumb! 🌱🫑

Our Vego Gardens are growing beautifully, and today we celebrated the very first bell pepper of the season! From planting and watering to watching every little sprout grow, our residents take great pride in caring for the garden beds.

Fresh air, sunshine, and a little gardening magic make for some happy gardeners at Wesley Gardens! 🌿☀️

Our Duffey Center residents take their garden duties very seriously! This crew works hard to keep the courtyard looking beautiful.

The garden has become more than just a place to grow flowers — it’s a place filled with purpose, laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of pride. And if you happen to walk through while they’re working, be prepared… you just might get recruited to help pull weeds! 🚜🪴🌼

Today we honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of Chief Master Sergeant Martin.
And today Mr. Thomas Nangle.is in full Scottish attire..

Mr. Nangle shared a treasured commemorative plate honoring his father, who proudly served with the 51st Highland Division during World War II. He stormed the beaches of Normandy, endured the hardships of war, and was later taken prisoner. As a POW, he was forced to march from Normandy all the way to Poland — a journey of unimaginable strength and perseverance.

Moments like these remind us that history is not just found in books… it lives in the stories, memories, and treasured keepsakes of those who experienced it and their families who carry those legacies forward. 🇺🇸❤️

We are grateful to Chief Master Sergeant Martin and Mr. Nangle for sharing such meaningful history with our Wesley Gardens family.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice allows us the freedoms we enjoy each day.

At Wesley Gardens, we are especially grateful for the veterans, families, and loved ones who carry these memories close to their hearts. May we never forget the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who served.

There’s always something sweet about gathering together to celebrate another trip around the sun! 🎉🎂

This month, our special birthday celebration was lovingly hosted by the Ladies Circle from First Methodist Church. Their kindness, fellowship, and joyful spirit made the day extra meaningful for our residents.

From birthday songs to sweet treats and lots of smiles, it was a beautiful reminder that every life deserves to be celebrated. ❤️🎈
