Williams, Mr. LeQuori, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Monday, October 12, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:-00AM from the Sanctuary of Antioch Baptist Church, Rev. James Knuckles, officiating with a burial following in Kindle Cemetery.

Mr. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 1-8PM, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to funeral services.

Ellington, Mr. Calvin-D'Ville, a resident of California formerly of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 11:00AM from the Sanctuary of Westside Baptist Church, Rev. Willie Graham, Pastor with a burial following in Eastwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Ellington-D'Ville will lie in repose on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home, and at the church one hour prior services.

Askew, Mr. Phillip, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Phillip Askew is survived by his wife of 19 years, Annie. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Askew and grandmother Carrie Askew who raised him with the teachings of our Lord and Savior. Phillip (Poppie) leaves to mourn daughter, Anita Wilson and grandson Joshua Wilson, Raleigh, NC. Two sisters, Frances Smith, Petersburgh, VA and Carrie (Winston) Knottingham, Silver Springs, MD. Brother William (Gayle) Sparrow, Roanoke, VA. A loving Aunt, Margaret Cuffie, Virginia Beach, VA. A devoted sister-in-law, Pearl Bowser and brother-in-law, Alfonzo Martin, both of Montgomery, AL. Sister-in-law, Ruby Askew, Norfolk, VA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Phillip served our country under the branch of the Marines and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion. Mr. Askew was an honorary member of the Four Chaplains. Although he has held many honored positions, he wanted his friends and family to know most of all that he was redeemed and had freely accepted the salvation gifted us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care of Hospice Amerisys. The staff was compassionate and attentive to Mr. Askew's needs. We would also like to extend appreciation to Phillips Riley for their professionalism, care, and timeliness of taking care of Mr. Askew's homegoing needs.

Mr. Askew will have a viewing on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 12-5PM located at PhillipsRiley (2284 W Fairview Ave,Montgomery, AL 36108) with a burial following in Alabama National Cemetery

Annie would like to thank everyone for their comforting words and kindness and would love to see everyone come to celebrate Phillip's homegoing. Light refreshments will be served. God bless you all.
