Dothan VA Clinic Closed for the Remainder of the Day

Veterans, please be advised that the Dothan VA Clinic closed at noon today, Aug. 24, due to a local gas leak in the area and will remain closed for the rest of the day.

Our team has reached out to Veterans with affected appointments to reschedule their care.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our Veterans and staff.

Extreme heat can pose serious health risks, especially for older adults and individuals with chronic medical conditions. Veterans can contact VA Health Connect for non-emergent medical advice, appointment scheduling and pharmacy support.

Call 1-855-679-0214 and select:

3 to speak with a nurse
2 for scheduling
1 for pharmacy

Veterans can also access VA Health Chat through the VA App Store, Apple App Store or Google Play.

VA Health Connect Nurse Triage is available 24/7 nationwide. In an emergency, call 911.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and check on family members, neighbors and fellow Veterans during periods of extreme heat.

This event reflects VA’s national partnership between the Veterans Health Administration and Veterans Benefits Administration to expand access to health care, benefits and other essential resources.
