One of the biggest mistakes I see new parents make is turning to social media for every answer.
I understand why. You’re exhausted, worried, and looking for reassurance.
The problem is that every baby is different.
What worked for one baby may not be right for yours.
I’ve worked with families who changed multiple formulas, bottles, and ni***es trying to solve a feeding issue when the real problem was simply feeding technique, burping technique, or how the baby was being held after a feeding.
Too many changes can actually make things harder on your baby.
When parents reach out to me, I take the time to learn about their baby’s specific situation and provide guidance based on experience, education, and what I’m seeing firsthand.
Sometimes it’s a simple adjustment.
Sometimes it’s a sign that your pediatrician or a specialist should be involved.
Either way, my goal is to help families feel confident and supported while finding the right solution for their baby.
What’s the best parenting advice you’ve ever received?
