When we created the Community Mommy Shower, it was always to center the holistic well being of moms. Making sure mothers in our community have a true continuum of care by connecting moms to as many resources available, ensuring no one slips through the cracks.

We went from a community event to a life changing event in just under a month! From connecting with the "breast friends" of Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere (ROSE) to get evidence based breastfeeding info, to winning a door prize and having our sponsor George Anderson of Anderson Automotive take it to her vehicle, and now a little welcomed earthside! What we don't see is that this mom has also been supported by our community partners, The Gift of Life Foundation and Black Women Rest , faithful supporters of the Community Mommy Shower.

This is just a small glimpse of what happens moms are supported. This is what the village is all about.
