☀️💙 One Last Look at Summer! 💙☀️

As we get ready to trade sunshine and summer days for pumpkin spice and autumn leaves, we're taking one last look back at some of the special memories we made this summer!

From art projects to baking, creative mocktails, patio socials, live entertainment, and plenty of fun in between, there was always something happening at Montgomeryville. 🎨🍪🍹🎶

We soaked up the sunshine, tried new things, got creative, shared plenty of laughs, and made some wonderful memories together along the way.

Special thanks to our community partners for their generous contributions throughout the summer- especially Ascend Hospice and Vitality Hospice and Palliative Care.

Summer may be winding down, but the fun certainly isn't! We're ready to see what fall has in store. 🍂🏈💙

🎶🎤 A Month Filled with Music! 🎤🎶

We were lucky enough to welcome not one, but two wonderful entertainers to Montgomeryville in August!

Residents enjoyed two special afternoons filled with familiar songs, great music, and plenty of smiles. Whether singing along, tapping their toes, or simply sitting back and enjoying the performances, there’s nothing quite like live music to brighten the day. 🎵💙

Even our staff couldn’t resist getting in on the fun, dancing along and adding a little extra energy to the festivities! 💃🎶

A big thank you to our entertainers, Beach Loving Man/Caribbean Jeff and Bill Frye, for sharing their time and talents with our residents. We always love having live music in the house!

🍦🎨 From Canvas to Cone! 🎨🍦

Our residents recently teamed up with our Therapy Department for a fun "paint it, then eat it" event!

First, residents got creative painting their own colorful ice cream cone artwork. Then came the best part — enjoying real ice cream sundaes afterward! 🍨

It was the perfect combination of creativity, collaboration, and a well-deserved sweet treat.

A special thank you to our Therapy Department for joining us and helping make the afternoon so much fun! 💙

⛵🎨 **Setting Sail with Creativity!** 🎨⛵

Our residents recently enjoyed a guided painting session featuring a beautiful sailboat watercolor design from Artfully Aging® LLC.

Everyone started with the same inspiration, but each finished painting became a unique reflection of each resident’s creativity and personal style. 🖌️🌊

That's one of our favorite things about creating art together — there is no one "right" way to make something beautiful.

We absolutely loved seeing each of these one-of-a-kind masterpieces come to life! 💙

In honor of Juneteenth, our staff enjoyed a potluck lunch together as we celebrated community, connection, and culture.

From sharing favorite dishes to spending time together, it was a meaningful way to recognize this important day and enjoy one another's company.

💙🥪 Caring for Those Who Care for Others 🥪💙

Our Certified Nursing Assistants recently received lunch bags and food containers as a small token of our appreciation.

Our CNAs are at the heart of so much that we do, and we are thankful for the compassion, dedication, and commitment they show to our residents each and every day.

While no gift could ever fully express how much they mean to our community, we hope they know how valued they are.

Thank you for all you do to support our residents, families, and team. Your hard work and kindness make a difference every day. 💙

We raised a glass to the amazing fathers and father figures in our community this Father's Day!💙

Our residents enjoyed some delicious root b**r floats and received patriotic red, white, and blue pinwheels as a small token of appreciation.

Thank you to the men whose wisdom, strength, and love have helped shape families and generations. Whether they are dads, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, mentors, or friends, we are grateful for the support, encouragement, and memories they have shared over the years.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day filled with love and celebration!💙

👕🎨 Wearable works of art! 🎨👕

To celebrate National T-Shirt Month, residents rolled up their sleeves and created vibrant tie-dye shirts.

The project was a wonderful opportunity to get creative, try something new, and enjoy seeing each unique design come to life. No two shirts were alike- and that's what made them so special!

It was a fun afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of color. 💙
