During National Case Management Week, Lawrence County Hospital is proud to recognize Julie Barnes, BSN, RN, our Swing Bed Coordinator and Case Manager!

Navigating the next steps after an illness, surgery, or hospital stay can feel overwhelming. Julie helps patients and families understand their options, coordinates with the care team, and helps plan for a safe transition home.

From helping patients access our Swing Bed Program to supporting them throughout their stay, Julie plays an important role in keeping care connected and each patient’s needs at the center of the plan.

Julie, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and the work you do behind the scenes and alongside our patients and families. You make a difference, and we are grateful to have you on our LCH team! 💙

If you or a loved one needs more time, skilled care, or rehabilitation before returning home, ask your discharge planner about our Swing Bed Program. You can be referred to us even if your surgery or hospital stay was somewhere else.

Call 601-587-1248 to discuss a referral. Let’s get you the care you need, close to home. 💙

Admission is based on individual care needs and coverage requirements.
