The Piatt County Nursing Home is proud to announce that Suzanna Brock was the recipient of the 2026 Leading Age "Hearts and Hands Award". Leading Age represents not-for-profit aging services with over 500 organizational members from nursing homes to home care companies. Suzanna was selected by a panel of seven judges, from dozens of other candidates to be this year's winner. The Piatt County Nursing Home and it's residents would like to congratulate Suzanna on winning this most well deserved award.

In June,We brought a little bit of grit and thrills to celebrate the local annual Trailblazers Rodeo 🐎. Residents enjoyed watching a rodeo, target practice, and even roping a mini toy bull 🐂, staff had fun dressing up on Spirit Day! Visitors included our furry friends from Paw Print Ministeries and music by Leigh Ewers (who was also a good sport putting on a cowboy hat 🤠). We are excited to see what July brings as we celebrate America's 250th all month long ❤️🤍💙.

Man it was a long day at PCNH🌪! we were pretty much in the hallways all day and night for the storms but we were able to fit in some fun. Church , hula hooping, karaoke and lots of laughs! We would like to say thanks to all the residents for their patience today and to all the all the staff in every department that helped keep our residents safe and entertained during this time. It truly was a group effort that we truly are thankful for! Stay tuned for the next post of short videos. 🤗🎤🤸‍♂️

Smiles, steps, and spins while staying active. 👟🌟 Our residents finished a challenge by walking and riding a stationary bike from our address to Metropolis,IL. a total of 218 miles! There were plenty of therapy and personal goals met💪. Today, we celebrated 👐with a Superman themed gathering, including glow necklaces "kryptonite," during exercise class, games, and a special video call from the owner of the Superman Museum in Metropolis! Plus a few of our employees to make you smile 🤭🤗
