Residents gathered in our Main Dining Room for our Golden Diploma Celebration. Folks passed around graduation yearbooks and displayed photos (so fun to guess who was who in them)! We collected some words of wisdom that perhaps residents wish they knew when they were back in school to pass along to others. We tallied the votes and announced the winners of our very own Westview Meadows’ Senior Superlatives, too!

The Westview Meadows Art Committee consists of volunteer residents who connect with and organize local artists to display their work here. The latest artist to adorn our walls is Robert Waldo Brunelle, Jr. As is Westview Meadows' tradition, we have invited Robert to speak with our residents about his artistic process and answer any questions. Residents look forward to the chance to speak with the artist and enjoy light refreshments, too.

Colorful papel picado banners, serape edged table runners and piñatas are just some of the festive decorations our activities coordinators used to transform our main dining room into a cantina! We celebrated Cinco de Mayo by playing several rounds of Lotería (a game similar to BINGO). Folks also enjoyed refreshing drinks from the margarita bar, churros, and corn tortilla chips with guacamole or a mild corn salsa.
