Vermont has released updated guidance and forthcoming policy revisions for the ABA Medicaid benefit, with an effective date of January 1, 2026.

The guidance provides clarification on:
- Concurrent billing of CPT codes 97153 and 97155.
- Qualifications for Qualified Healthcare Providers (QHPs).
- The role of BCaBAs in service provision.
- Which services may be delivered via telehealth and by whom.
