It was so good to be back. ❤️🐾
A heartfelt thank you to Bayshore Companion Dog Club and especially Jo Caruso for welcoming Dooligans Wellness Therapy back this weekend.
One thing I wasn’t expecting was how many people stopped to ask me, “Where have you been?”
As many of you know, my 15-year-old Labrador, Mason, had not been doing well. I made the decision to step back from agility trials for a while so I could spend more time with him. I was very touched by how many of you remembered Mason and took the time this weekend to offer your condolences. Those kind words meant more to me than you probably realized. ❤️
During that time away, I’ve also been working hard to grow DWT Wellness, my wellness studio for people. It’s been an exciting chapter, but this weekend reminded me just how much I’ve missed the agility community.
There’s something special about Bayshore—the one-ring trial, the familiar faces, the conversations between runs, and getting to catch up with dogs and handlers I’ve known for years.
And now I have this guy, Colby, keeping me company at the table. Apparently he thinks the PEMF table belongs to him. 😂🐾
Thank you, Jo, Bayshore, and everyone who stopped by to say hello, catch up, share a Mason memory or simply welcome me back.
It really was good to be back.🙏
